well, u can see the result after i took some time for it.
well, this was how i found the burner...
dirty, stuck with... residue from baking...
my father loves baking fish... hmm
a detailed view of the gasvalve,.. i didnt know what the round plate was under the handle..
but again, dirty, greasy,..yuck
here is the main part of the burner sanded..
after a lot of degreasing!!
it appeared that the original, green paint was so well of quality, i decided to only sand down the little rust.
the gasinlet, after sanding it down to bare cast iron...
en then how it looks when done!
i finished the burner with some heat-resistant paint
it should take about 600 degrees celsius!
more then enough for the purpose i have in mind ;)
the gasvalve, also cleaned and refit, connected to the gasinlet...
nice and shiny.. and now i now what the purpose is of the brass round plate beneath the handle ...
see the details beneath...
the plate tell you, in what position the gashandle is ...
KLEIN or Small Flame
OPEN plain Normal Flame
DICHT ... yup, Closed.. no flame
a front detailed view of the nozzle.. with the tiny hole...
