The PurifierStill: The Helm

this drawing will be the referencedrawing to use with 3DSMAX

it shows the top of the COLUMN

this will be made of a old, brass drain

here it shows the build of the column top in 3DSMAX

and the final rendering of the column top.

This old cannon shell, im gonna use for some parts of the purifier.
You can see a ruler aside the shell..   the ruler is about 30 cm.
To give an idea of the proportions.

A part of the cannon shell, has been used to make the column.
This column consists of the bottom and a part of the shell, as well the former brass drain.
It still needs to be soldered together,.
total height is about 21cm.

today, 22-02-2012, i soldered the helm..
it went very well, i preheated the thing with a small camping gasburner..
i started with the flange at the bottom, then went up to solder the head of the helm (or column)... and last thing i did, was solder the nut with the innerthread on top of the helm..

this is a sort of blueprint i created within Photoshop (if u want to know how i did it, just ask.. ) of the helmhead
